David Rodin is one of the world’s foremost authorities on organizational ethics. His work in moral philosophy has helped reshape the fields of business ethics, and the ethics of security and armed conflict.
David has over 15 years of experience in helping leading organizations overcome their most difficult ethical and cultural challenges. He has particular experience in the military, intelligence and finance sectors, where he is a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
For the past thirteen years David has been responsible for training the senior officers of the British armed forces in ethics. He was a key driver of the development of the US Army’s new ethics doctrine.
David is a former New Zealand Rhodes Scholar and has been honoured as a ‘Young Global Leader’ by the World Economic Forum in recognition of his role as one of the world’s most influential thought leaders.
David began his career with the Boston Consulting Group in London. He is currently Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford where he Co-Directs the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict, and Professor of Politics at the European University Institute in Florence. He is also Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethic and International Affairs in New York.
