Alberto Alemanno is a legal scholar, civic advocate and - due to his desire to fill the gap between academic thinking and policy action - an academic entrepreneur. He was named 2015 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is currently Jean Monnet Professor of Law at HEC Paris and Global Professor of Law at New York University School of Law where he's the Founding Director of the EU Public Interest Clinic . He is also the co-founder and director of The Good Lobby, an advocacy skill-sharing community connecting NGOs with expert citizens. Alberto is one of the leading experts in the areas of EU law and policy, risk regulation and global health and is a leading public interest lawyer. Alemanno regularly provides advice to a variety of organizations, such as the World Health Organisation, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the European Parliament, as well as governments across the world and many civil society organisations.
